Table Top Test

 
  • Make sure all boxes are off (including other nearby RM-510 systems.) Then turn ON only the gray Start Gate.

  • On the app on your phone wait for the gears to turn blue and go into the settings screen. Select the 2-gate AutoStart mode.

  • Turn ON the rest of the gates and place the pods “face-to-face” as shown in the video below.

  • Wait about one minute for the yellow lights to complete the synchronization process.

  • This is called a Table-top Test.

    • The yellow lights blink slowly and at exactly the same time

    • The red light on each black box blinks at the same time as the green light on the corresponding gray box (might be a bit hard to see.) The red lights on the two black boxes are not supposed to be synchronized with each other.

  • If the blinking lights on your system are different from the ones shown in the video, take a short clip of your system performing a Table-top test and send it to support for further help at support@arenagear.com. Make sure it clearly shows all the pods and their lights exactly as the video below.

 
 

Here are some quick diagnostics:

  • The yellow lights blink fast or not at the same time: you need to pair your gates. Go here

  • One or more of the gates has a very fast red light blinking (three times a second): This is an indicator of LOW BATTERY. We recommend changing all the batteries on all the pods at the same time.

  • One of the pods has no lights at all: Check the batteries and clean the battery contacts. Check the switch and make sure it gives you a nice clink when activated

  • One of the gray pods has a red light (steady or slow blink): that gate is not receiving the infrared beam. swap the black boxes (keep the faces touching), if the red light follows the black box, you have a bad black box, otherwise, you have a bad gray box. Make a video of you swapping the black boxes and send it to support@arenagear.com to start a service or warranty repair.
