For runs that have a separate start and finish line. The time starts at the first crossing of the Start beam and does not reset at subsequent Start beam crossings. This allows multiple athletes to line up for a race without causing the time to reset for each athlete. Once the Finish Line is crossed the system rearms itself for the next run.

The time will start when the steer crosses the Start beam. If the Header breaks his beam before the steer reaches the head-start line, the phone screen will show a red message that the barrier was broken. The big display will show a red "F" next to the running time.
Use the remote button to stop the time when the flag drops. Press the F key again (after a couple of seconds) to clear the time back to zero. Note: Pressing the F key too quickly won’t clear the time, you have to allow about a second or two between clicks. You can add penalties from your phone after the time stops, a "P" button shows up next to the reset button. The penalty will be added to the final time and broadcasted to other phones and the big display if you have one.

Once the Start beam is broken the system will immediately count eight seconds. If the rider is thrown from the mount, the judge will press the “Stop” button on the Manual Remote Button. The judge may press the “Stop” button a second time to reset the system for the next rider. Alternatively, the time may be started with the Manual Remote Button.
